Now, more than ever, it is important for every voting Canadian to have the facts and to hear ALL the information related to potential political leaders, their background, their allegiances, and their intended policies before they cast a vote in an election.
Unfortunately, most people cannot name one item on any of the party’s platforms, and blindly cast a ballot based on the superficial individual perception of the leader’s personal appeal, rather than the actual politics, the party’s intended policies, or their track record.
When asked why they don’t like a candidate, they rarely come up with a valid argument, and typically base their vacant opinion on some rhetoric they have been fed from government sponsored legacy media. The main-stream media in Canada, which received millions of dollars in funding from the Liberal government, is beholding to the bought and paid for government narrative regardless of journalistic integrity, labelling any counter narrative from independent media as misinformation.
When asked about their awareness of various draconian bills proposed by Trudeau and the Liberals that aim at taking away basic personal freedoms, (ie: C-63, C-293, etc. ...) their response is usually a blank stare. Then, when asked if they have done any research on which to base their current position, they return with ... “I don’t have time for that”. So... they rely on the propaganda from the government funded CBC, CTV, Global, and Toronto Star.
The blatant ignorance of the Canadian populous is now evident in the rising support for Liberal Mark Carney. Trudeau was dragging the party and the country down with his extreme unpopularity and idiotic statements, and people were starting to finally see him for what he is ... a complete moron. The problem is ... people fail to realize that in Canada we have a parliamentary system, and we vote for parties, not individuals. The Liberal Party damaging policies will continue after the absence of Justin Trudeau. What is worse, the Liberals who supported the tyrannical policies and corruption over the past eight years will still be part of the Liberal party, and potentially under the dictatorial direction of a much worse WEF globalist in Mark Carney.
Mark Carney is a self-declared ‘elitist and globalist’ ... in lock-step with the World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset” agenda. Let’s take a look at just a few of the things people should know about Carney before they decide to cast a vote in the next election.
1) Mark Carney holds 3 different passports, and claims citizenship in Britain, Ireland, and Canada.
Carney has often introduced himself as a ‘European’ ... so why would he always put Canada first given his conflicted allegiances?
2) He is a board member of the World Economic Forum
Carney supports the WEF’s Great Reset agenda. The WEF introduced the controversial "The Great Reset" in response to global upheaval caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Critics argue the reset promotes an agenda that may lead to increased government control over economic and social systems, potentially at the expense of individual liberty.
"We need a reset on the way we deal with climate change, which, like the pandemic, is a global phenomenon," said Carney.
3) He fully supports implementation of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)
Loss of control of your money, government oversight on your spending, and the government’s ability to freeze your assets. What restrictions could a centralized digital currency, programmable on the fly, lead to? Do you want to pay your neighbour’s daughter $50 to babysit your kids? The government will see that transaction. Want to give your child an allowance? The government could restrict it in real time. Say something the government doesn’t like? They could void your money with the stroke of a key.
4) He is an extreme ‘Net Zero’ activist.
A WEF initiative, seeking control over populations and restriction on personal freedoms in the name of a climate crisis, Mark Carney is a flag-waver for ‘Net Zero’ ... a totally unscientific dystopian plan to restrict personal freedoms.
As Carney stated in his book... ‘Values: A Better World for All’ ...
“...Western society is morally rotten, and that it has been corrupted by capitalism, which has brought about a “climate emergency” that threaten life on earth. (This) requires rigid controls on personal freedom, industry and corporate funding.”
Hypocritically, he is a major shareholder in Brookfield Asset Management, which makes millions from oil and gas development in other countries.
5) He is a ‘special advisor’ to the Liberal government, and is just as responsible as Trudeau for the complete mess this country is in.
Advising Trudeau is nothing new for Carney, who has spoken at numerous Liberal events over the years and been in regular contact with the prime minister. In the summer of 2020, Bloomberg reported Carney was informally advising Trudeau on how to pull Canada out the economic shocks of the Covid pandemic.
6) He is vocal about the restrictions on personal freedoms as part of climate action.
The former Bank of Canada governor is a climate activist of the most devoted and determined sort. He has done more thinking and writing about climate change than the rest of the Trudeau caucus combined.
In 2021, Carney published a boat-anchor book called Values.
This 527-page tome devotes whole chapters to climate change. He ardently believes that the world economy, and certainly Canada’s, must be transformed as quickly as possible to avert the collapse of civilization.
“To meet the 1.5 C target, more than 80 per cent of current fossil fuel reserves (including three-quarters of coal, half of gas, one-third of oil) would need to stay in the ground, stranding these assets.”
“...Western society is morally rotten, and that it has been corrupted by capitalism, which has brought about a “climate emergency” that threaten life on earth. (This) requires rigid controls on personal freedom, industry and corporate funding.”
7) He supported the crushing of the Freedom Convoy and the implementation of the Emergencies Act, calling the peaceful protestors “seditionists” and “insurrectionists”.
Former Governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, Mark Carney, supported Trudeau by calling the protest “sedition” and “insurrection”. Carney claimed that the convoy’s goal was “undermining our democracy and the rule of law”. One thing you can always count on from Mark Carney is his extremist, left-wing positions.
8) He has declared that he will use ‘emergency powers’ if elected as PM to enforce his climate agenda by restricting personal freedoms.
During a February 12 campaign stop in Kelowna, British Columbia, Former Governor of the Bank of England Mark Carney, who has ties to the World Economic Forum and is a staunch proponent of so-called “green” energy, told Canadians that if he becomes prime minister he is willing to use “emergency powers” to implement his energy plans.
9) He was an economic disaster as the Head of the Bank of England
"I strongly recommend not backing Mark Carney for his policies on Net Zero. It was disastrous for Britain. It would be disastrous for Canada." (Liz Truss, UK PM)
10) He fully endorsed the Carbon Tax...
... until he recognized that Poilievre was gaining public favour with ‘Axe the Tax’ ... and then he said he would stop the tax and replace it with other “green initiatives” ... meaning ... he would tax the supply chain, which would inevitably have the same cost increases to consumers.
11) He is an active supporter of censorship against his globalist narrative, banning independent media from his events.
“You’re not welcome here,” was the message Liberal leadership candidate Mark Carney’s campaign team had for independent media journalists who tried to attend his launch in Edmonton, Alberta.
While the event welcomed legacy media journalists, independent reporters were told they were not welcome and barred from entry.
12) He is an active supporter of the DEI and WOKE agenda.
“While America engages in a war on woke, Canadians will continue to value inclusiveness.”
13) Carney also supported Trudeau’s open borders, mass immigration policies.
Carney can’t hide from his alliance with the Liberal immigration policies that have put Canada into this mess of high unemployment, scarce and unaffordable housing, and drastic increases in crime rates. His close relationship with Trudeau and the Liberal Party most certainly meant that he had his hand in Liberal policy development.
The Liberal’s platform is obvious from their disastrous performance over the last eight years, with very few of their proposed and approved bills being actually represented in their previous campaign platforms, gaslighting the Canadian public into voting Liberal ... and Carney’s past and recent statements give insight to what they would inflict on Canadians if allowed to remain in power after the next election.
If you were not going to vote for the Liberals because of Justin Trudeau, don’t think that things will be different if Mark Carney takes over the leadership ... things will actually get much worse. A Liberal, is a Liberal, is a Liberal ... and when potentially lead by a WEF globalist elite, Canada will be unrecognizable if the Liberals are allowed to continue the havoc they have inflicted on this country.
If someone states that they don’t like Poilievre, I ask ... why? Typically, they respond with they, ‘just don’t like him’, or that ‘he is too much like Trump’. The latter is usually from their myopic view established by the constant biased brainwashing from government funded media like the CBC, CTV, and the Toronto Star.
Let’s take a look at Poilievre’s and the Conservative Party of Canada’s platform, and the intended policies that so many people seem to be unaware of ...
1) Tax Reform and Spending Cuts
Poilievre's tax strategy centers on reversing the Liberal government's capital gains tax changes, which would have increased the inclusion rate to two-thirds for corporations and trusts [9]. This reversal aims to prevent an estimated loss of 414,000 jobs [9].
Moreover, he proposes a "Pay-As-You-Go Law" requiring the government to find one dollar in savings for each new dollar spent [10].
2) Regulatory changes and deregulation
The Conservative leader advocates for substantial deregulation, especially in natural resource development. His platform calls for accelerating mine approvals, noting that the current 18-year approval process needs streamlining [3].
Subsequently, he plans to boost Western Canada's liquefied natural gas exports by following the U.S. model of expedited plant approvals [3].
3) Monetary policy approach
Poilievre's monetary policy focuses on controlling both consumer price inflation and asset price inflation [11]. Under his leadership, the Bank of Canada would maintain a strict 2% inflation target [12]. Consequently, he proposes expanding the auditor general's oversight of the central bank [13]. His platform also rejects the Bank of Canada's digital currency initiative, arguing it could lead to increased government surveillance of financial transactions [13].
The platform aims to address rising costs, with Poilievre highlighting that annual interest payments on accumulated debt will approach CAD 97.54 billion by decade's end [3]. Therefore, his fiscal strategy includes cutting what he terms "corporate welfare," estimated at CAD 55.73 billion annually in federal support [3]. His approach also involves reducing foreign aid and consultant spending to lower the deficit, which currently stands at CAD 55.73 billion [10].
4) Infrastructure and Resource Development
Poilievre's infrastructure and development strategy centers on removing what he terms "gatekeepers" from Canada's housing and resource sectors, increasing housing access and affordability.
5) Natural resource sector plans
The Conservative leader advocates for accelerating resource development across Canada. His strategy primarily focuses on speeding up mine approvals, noting that current processes can take up to 25 years [16]. Besides, Poilievre pledges to expand lumber harvesting and port capacity to boost northern British Columbia's economy [16].
Essentially, his resource development approach includes a novel First Nations revenue-sharing program. Under this plan, Indigenous communities would collect 50% of federal taxes from industrial activities on their lands [17]. This initiative aims to provide First Nations with direct control over resource development benefits [18].
6) Infrastructure investment strategy
Although Poilievre opposes increasing municipal infrastructure funding [19], his platform introduces a performance-based approach. Cities must increase housing starts by 15% annually to receive full federal funding [6]. Those exceeding this target would receive additional funding, chiefly CAD 13,933 for each extra home built [20].
Nevertheless, municipalities failing to meet these targets would face proportional funding reductions [6]. The strategy also mandates high-density housing near transit stations as a condition for receiving federal transit funding [6]. This approach aims to create more affordable housing options for students, seniors, and low-income families [6].
7) Deficit reduction approach
Poilievre's deficit reduction strategy centers on his proposed "Pay-As-You-Go Law", requiring the government to find one dollar in savings for each new dollar of spending [21]. This approach primarily aims to address the current deficit of CAD 55.73 billion [10]. Simultaneously, the plan includes exemptions for national emergencies, wars, pandemics, and natural disasters [21].
8) Government spending priorities
The Conservative leader's spending strategy focuses on systematic cuts across multiple sectors:
· Reducing bureaucracy and consultant contracts
· Eliminating what he terms "wasteful foreign aid"
· Cutting corporate welfare to large corporations
· Streamlining military procurement processes [22]
Presently, the federal government faces interest payments of CAD 64.79 billion to service existing debt [23]. Accordingly, Poilievre's platform emphasizes the need to control spending, as debt servicing costs are projected to exceed health care expenditures [4].
9) Revenue generation plans
The revenue strategy undoubtedly diverges from the current government's approach, with Poilievre pledging to reverse the capital gains tax changes that would have generated CAD 24.24 billion over five fiscal years [5]. Similarly, his platform proposes redirecting federal tax revenues from resource projects directly to First Nations communities [24]. This innovative approach aims to boost economic development while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
10) Work with Provinces to remove inter-provincial trade and employment barriers
Within 30 days of becoming Prime Minister, bring together the Premiers to agree on removing as many exemptions as possible.
Prioritize an agreement on one standard set of trucking rules to get billions of dollars of goods moving east-west instead of only going north-south. This move alone would boost GDP by $1.6 billion.
Create a Blue Seal Professional Licensing Standard recognized in each province so doctors, nurses and engineers can work in all provinces and territories and those Canadians trained abroad can quickly get certified and working in Canada up to our standard.
Offer provinces a Free Trade Bonus to get a deal done. Every trade barrier removed by provinces will generate more GDP, and more revenue. Poilievre plans to give this increased tax revenue back to provinces to spend on schools, hospitals, and whatever else Premiers choose. As this bonus would only be paid out of boosted government revenues from free trade, it would not add to the massive NDP-Liberal deficit.
11) Poilievre also pledged "the biggest crackdown on crime in Canadian history”
· Establish a mandatory prison sentence of three years for any criminal convicted of extortion.
· Bring in a mandatory five-year prison sentence for any criminal convicted of extortion who is acting on behalf of gangs and organized crime. Not only does this mean that the criminals who carry out these crimes will go to prison, but it also means that prosecutors and cops will have another tool to go after the ringleaders of these criminal organizations.
· Restore mandatory four-year prison sentences for the offence of extortion with a firearm.
· Make arson an aggravating factor for the charge of extortion.
· Reverse the damage done by Bill C-75 and restore jail, not bail, for repeat offenders.
12) End safe-supply drug policies and provide more money for addiction treatment
13) Poilievre would introduce the Free Speech Act to repeal Liberal internet regulation and censorship laws
So, hopefully you have taken a bit of time to review actual information on which to base your position moving forward ... and if the Conservative platform strikes a chord with you, then seriously give some thought to your intended ballot selection this coming election.
Our country’s future depends on a leader and a political party that will truly put Canadians first, restore our freedoms, national pride, build our economy, and establish greater personal safety and security for all Canadians.
